A teenager discovers he's the descendant of a Greek god and sets out on an adventure to settle an on-going battle between the gods

On this movie I was FX Lead at Trixter Munich. I had to create a pearl which looks like having the whole universe inside and I had to create fire and ember FX for some shots.

The pearl task was achieved with some advanced shading networks and fluid effects in Maya. The pearl was rendered with Mental Ray and later composited with Nuke. For the flames I used Mayas fluid engine and the embers where done with particles and rendered with Renderman.
