Lead FX Artist on Ninja Assassin

As Lead FX TD I created several setups for particle and fluid sims to create various effects like bursting stones, splintering wood and flying embers. Realflow and Maya fluids were used to do blood simulations for the fighting scenes. I also worked on matchmoving and lighting on some shots.

3D Smoke FX Sequence Lead on James Bond - Quantum of Solace

As 3D smoke fx sequence lead I prepared setups for particle and fluid sims for the smoke TDs and helped solving problems as well as organizing and scheduling meetings and giving creative/technical advice.

FX Artist on LASSA commercial

I created particle and fluid simulations to create dust and debris for a tyre commercial. The biggest challenge was to create believable dust that comes very close to camera. Compositing was done in Fusion and Flame.

Lighting TD on Hellboy 2 - The Golden Army

As lighting TD I worked on the "Toothfairy" sequence where I did several lighting setups and worked on establishing a render and lighting pipeline for the other lighters on the sequence.

Lead 3D Artist on Cloverfield

As lead 3D artist on Cloverfield I worked on several shots including a fx shot for an electronic shop where all glass windows had to be shattered.
I also was responsible for the destruction of the brooklyn bridge where I did a lot of rigid body simulation, particle fx, fluids and hand animation on the foreground elements of the sequence.

FX TD on 10.000BC

As FX TD I worked on the "Slave Uprising" sequence where I did the whole destruction of the pyramid including the animation of the golden top falling down and destroying all the scaffolding and the pyramid itself.
My tasks included modelling of the scaffolding, some texture work, rigid body dynamics, particles for additional stones and sand, fluids for main dust, maya hair for ropes and different sorts of manual animaitons.

Lighting TD on Harry Potter 5

As lighting TD I worked on the "Hall of Prophecies" sequence where I did several lighting setups and precompositings with REX (Double Negatives Inhouse Maya to Renderman converter) and shake.
